t Indigo Yoga, we will teach, transform and inspire people so greatly that their lives will be better and more abundant than they ever imagined.
We will empower every student, to embody health specific to them, on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We loyally and energetically study and support the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga system and teach from our experience of it. We strive to meet the individual needs of each and every student, regardless of age, experience or background, through the physical practice of yoga and personal growth programs. We are committed to creating a positive, inspirational impact on our local and and global community.
We will operate from abundance. All who share in our vision will share with with the world, one student at a time. We will stand in our truth at all times, regardless of popularity and will never accept mediocrity in our study, teaching or life. We are committed to being the change, and want to share this commitment with you.

Downward Facing Dog pose is one of the most popular, common poses in vinyasa yoga. It engages your entire body and being. It calms your nervous system and creates overall flexibility. It opens and awakens the body muscularly and fascially from the large areas like the back, shoulders and legs to the smaller, tighter places like feet and ankles. It has an inversion element to it, so you are able to get a flush of oxygen to the heart and brain. It can be used very actively and dynamically but can be restful at the same time.
How to do the pose:
Place your hands and feet at shoulder and hip width. Spread your fingers wide. Allow your head and neck to be free of tension. Do not be concerned if your heels touch the floor but do not hold your calf muscles tightly by coming up to the balls of the feet. Work for stability over flexibility. Imagine as though you are pushing your mat forward, out from under you as you lengthen in the shoulders and the back, sending your tailbone high. Be careful not to collapse into the shoulder or grip in the abdominals. Keep your feet and toes active. Make adjustments if necessary and if the pose is too difficult, you can come to your knees to table top or take a child's pose. No matter what pose you are in, continue to breathe.
Bryan and Stacy are avid yogis and always bring so much light into the studio every time they are there. As a couple they are an inspiration to many, having raised 3 boys, Greyson, Tucker and Wilder. Bryan always makes us laugh and always makes sure we are safely in our cars and on our way home after closing the studio at night. His in-class commentary is always great for a giggle and makes us all feel like family. Bryan says, "Boy Scouts keep me busy, yoga keeps me breathing, and my family keeps me laughing." There is no question who is boss in the Bogle family: Stacy rules the roost and keeps all her men in line (and us too...) Her wit and her intelligence are what we love most. She is a teacher and a writer, and "turns maternal worry into an Olympic event." We love the Bogles for all that they stand for, for their commitment to health and yoga, but most of all, for their commitment to each other.
