MARGARET GRADO

CERTIFIED 200 RYT

When Margaret arrived in Fort Worth in 2012, she knew she had found the place where she wanted to spend the rest of her life. As she dealt with issues from her military service, a desire to remain as healthy as possible led her to yoga.

The sign for Indigo Yoga one day caught her attention. As a former athlete and Army Air Defense Artillery Captain, Margaret knew what it meant to be fit, and she wanted to recapture that feeling.

"I've been fortunate in my life to live abroad and travel extensively. Yoga has given me back the fitness that I had as a swimmer and an Army officer-- the feeling that gives me confidence that I can travel when and where I choose, and remain active in the years to come," says Margaret.

Whether it is teaching yoga at her daughter's club in Midland, to her colleagues at Southwest Christian School, or regaling her ninth graders with stories from her practice, this high school history teacher looks forward to continued growth. As a 200-hour RYT, Margaret especially wants to serve in the veteran community. It's not all about sweat, however.

"Besides the health and career benefits, I've found the community I need to be happy in Fort Worth," says Margaret. "I feel honored to be a part of Indigo, and blessed every time I walk in the studio."
