MISSION

At Indigo our intention is to provide an environment in which you and your practice can thrive. We create community, we endorse compassion and we believe in possibility. Our teachers and staff are here to support you, answer your questions and guide you in your journey.

COMMUNITY

Practice alongside long-time yogis or first-time visitors, regardless of the skill set, Indigo’s doors are always welcoming and inviting. Within our studios, relationships are built, and friendships are borne. Our instructors and members are inclusive and always ready to welcome new yogis into the family. Special events encourage personal interaction among members in a social setting comforting to all. Our front desk staff is there to support and assist you, making your Indigo experience a positive one.

CULTURE

This practice is for people who are ready to tap into their inner power; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Based on the Baron Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Method, this practice is a combination of different traditions of yoga, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, and others, that combine for a dynamic mix of strength and spirit. It will not only tone your body, but it will open energetic channels to a calmer, peaceful spirit ignited with confidence.

INDIGO

HISTORY

Indigo Yoga opened on May 8, 2006 off Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, TX. The initial studio was just big enough to allow for twenty students per class. In the summer of 2008, we added an additional studio space that allowed for forty students. Then, in the spring of 2010, we expanded into a space that allowed for one hundred students.

By 2016, it was time to expand even further. First, we built a state-of-the-art studio off Pershing Avenue, just down the road from our original location, complete with locker rooms, showers, a staff lounge, and meditation room. Additionally, we opened our first pop-up studio off Commerce Street in Sundance Square, where we held Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training sessions and electives, as well as Vinyasa-Restorative and Non-Heated All Levels classes.

Indigo is a Baptiste Affiliate Studio, meaning we have an on-going relationship with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute to maintain the quality, standards and effectiveness of the Baptiste Vinyasa Yoga practices and principles.
