INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
For in-studio, bring everything you need for practice! A skid-less yoga mat, sweat towel, and water bottle are a must. We highly encourage you to bring a yoga block, as well. You may also choose to bring a mat towel and/or strap. Refillable water stations are in several locations in our studios.
For your virtual practice, a mat and a block may be all you need.
In-studio, we have mats, mat towels, blocks, and straps for purchase, as well as other retail such as books and apparel.
If you do not live close to the studio, check out our online store here - https://www.indigoyoga.net/shop
Wear whatever makes you comfortable! That said, we advise not wearing too loose of clothing, as it generally gets in the way of your practice. Breathable, athletic fabric is also optimal. Please be mindful of clothing that is see through, or does not provide enough appropriate coverage.
Having something small and fueling before class, such as a piece of fruit or a smoothie, can be helpful. You want to avoid large, heavy meals for at least one hour before class. Hydration takes 24 hours, so drink plenty of water before, during and after class, especially if practicing in-studio.
Yes, our classes are heated between 93-96 degrees, as per Baptiste standards.
Currently, we are keeping the doors cracked in the practice space to allow for ventilation during operating hours, as well as keep the fans on in the large room.
If you prefer to not practice in heat, please join us virtually!
Not at all! You may even find the in-studio heat to be helpful in accessing your flexibility.
No worries! We understand that life happens, and we allow students to join in-studio classes up to ten minutes after starting. All we ask is that you enter and exit the practice space mindfully.
For virtual classes, you may join at any time.
At this time, face masks are required until you are on your mat. Please observe safe social distancing. We ask students to immediately enter the practice space and take all of their belongings, including silenced self phones, and shoes, with them.
After class, students will exit out the side doors.
For virtual classes, please mute your mic when you join the class. If you'd like to chat with your teacher and/or fellow students before or after class, simply unmute your mic at that time. Feel free to keep your video on as it helps us connect with you, and speak to what's needed in the practice.
We do, though they are temporarily closed.
Though all of our classes can be suitable for women during any stage of their pregnancy, we suggest you consult your doctor for any exceptions, including pace, heat, etc.
Contact us at info@indigoyoga.net with questions.
Our instructors can advise you on adapting your practice to fit your needs within any class. You may also find some of our specialty classes, such as Slow Flow, Basics, and/or Integrative Mindfulness and Flow, to be a good fit.
Of course!
14 yrs old and younger can join a virtual class for $10.
14-17yrs old can join their parent/guardian for an in-studio class for $25.
We also have our Youth Yoga membership (for anyone between 8 and 17yrs old) that offers limitless virtual and in-studio classes for $38/month (parent/guardian must be a member).
We want you to always be up to date on the community, special events, programs, and new classes.

It will not only tone your body, but it will open energetic channels to a calmer, peaceful spirit ignited with confidence.

HISTORY
Indigo Yoga opened on May 8, 2006 off Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, TX. The initial studio was just big enough to allow for twenty students per class. In the summer of 2008, we added an additional studio space that allowed for forty students. Then, in the spring of 2010, we expanded into a space that allowed for one hundred students.
By 2016, it was time to expand even further. First, we built a state-of-the-art studio off Pershing Avenue, just down the road from our original location, complete with locker rooms, showers, a staff lounge, and meditation room. Additionally, we opened our first pop-up studio off Commerce Street in Sundance Square, where we held Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training sessions and electives, as well as Vinyasa-Restorative and Non-Heated All Levels classes.
Indigo is a Baptiste Affiliate Studio, meaning we have an on-going relationship with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute to maintain the quality, standards and effectiveness of the Baptiste Vinyasa Yoga practices and principles.
