Lauren describes herself as "50% Deepak and 50% Tupac", a characterization that suits her perfectly. A Fort Worth native, Lauren first sought out yoga after the birth of her second child.
"I was looking for something to help me balance the hectic schedule of having a newborn and one-year-old," says Lauren. "Immediately after my first class, I felt a shift."
This shift resulted in a newfound sense of calm that left Lauren immediately recharged. A consistent practice soon developed out of this first foray, and Lauren found additional benefits to her energy levels, strength, sense of balance, and patience. Indigo became something of a second home for Lauren, a space that has witnessed her personal transformation into a beloved teacher.
"I love the community and support that Indigo offers," says Lauren. "And I pride myself in being a part of something that works hard to unify and uplift."
Unity and inspiration. What more could you ask for from a yoga practice? A 2015 graduate of Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training, Lauren has found a way to pass along these gifts to everyone she greets while working the front desk at Indigo.
