For Aledo and the west corridor
The yoga studio twenty minutes from Aledo.
A twenty-year hot power vinyasa studio, straight up the road in Fort Worth. Members have been driving in from your direction for years.
First Class: $8We tried Aledo once.
We ran a pop-up studio in Aledo. The town showed up; a part-time room could not hold what a daily practice needs. Heated floors, real showers, seven days of classes. So the full studio stayed at 5111 Pershing, and Aledo kept driving.
That drive is about twenty minutes: I-20 east, up Camp Bowie, free parking at the door. Shorter than most people’s commute, and you come back better than you left.
About that drive right now. We know.
The I-20/I-30 split is a $541 million rebuild that runs into 2030, and some days it feels like there’s a million cars, and just as many cones. We drive it too. Check Keep 20-30 Moving for this week’s closures before you leave, and give yourself five extra minutes.
Here is the trade: twenty minutes of construction for an hour where your phone is in a locker and nobody can merge into you. The drive home is the same road. It never feels like it.
Where it fits
Built around a commuter’s day.
Before the day starts
First classes roll out at 5:30 in the morning on weekdays. Practice, shower, and be back on I-20 before the school traffic wakes up.
Saturday mornings
The most Parker County hour we have. Come in, practice, hit the errands you were going to do in Fort Worth anyway.
Never done yoga, or not in years
Saturday evening runs a non-heated class at room temperature. Same practice, no heat. It is the easiest first step in the building.
Serving neighbors from Aledo, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Annetta, Walsh, White Settlement, and the rest of east Parker County.
Twenty years, 953K+ visits, one room.
Hot power vinyasa taught the same way since 2006. All levels in every class, teachers who know your name, and a community that was voted Fort Worth’s best this year, three times over.
Fair questions
Is it really worth the drive?
People from the corridor have been making it for twenty years, some of them a thousand classes deep. You will recognize Parker County plates in the lot.
Is there anything closer?
Depending on your address, maybe. Studio 369 in Willow Park runs pilates and barre with some yoga on the schedule. HOTWORX in Hudson Oaks does infrared workouts with a virtual instructor. Hot Yoga Rodeo teaches out in Weatherford. If one of those keeps you practicing, go practice. The drive to Indigo buys the specific thing we do: hot power vinyasa taught live by a teacher in the room, seven days a week, twenty years running.
What does the first class cost?
Eight dollars, everything included: mat, towel, locker, water, showers. Nothing renews. You pick any class on the schedule.
How hot is hot?
Most classes run at 96 degrees. The Saturday evening class runs at room temperature. Both are the same practice.
Make the drive once.
Your first class is $8, everything included. Pick any class on the schedule, walk in a few minutes early, and see whether it earns the twenty minutes.
