November 2026
Grateful for the practice.
November 3, 2026

November is the month the room gets quieter and warmer at the same time. The light comes in low, the windows fog, and the people on the mats around you are the ones who come no matter what the calendar says. We have a month built around exactly that, and one thing we have been working on for most of the year that is finally in your hands.
964,000 visits since 2006. Every one of them was somebody deciding to show up. Thank you for being one of them.

My Indigo
Your practice, in your pocket.
Every class you have ever taken at Indigo is in it, along with the parts of your practice you have never been able to see in one place. It lives on your phone, there is no app store and nothing to download, and it is ready now.
Your practice, counted.
Your total, your days in a row, your year class by class, the teachers you have practiced with most, and your busiest month ever.
Book and check in from your phone.
The schedule with your usual classes up top, a tap to book, a tap to check in when you walk in, and Join on Zoom when you cannot make it to Pershing.
Bring a friend, and it counts.
Your invite link is on the Rewards tab. Their first class earns you 100 points, their joining earns 1,000, and each friend who joins is worth 1,000 more than the last, up to 10,000.
The studio, in one place.
News, the Pose of the Month with a clip, playlists, a class library for the days you practice at home, and a line straight to the desk.
Saturdays · new time
We listened.
Non-heated moves to 4:30.
From Saturday, November 7, the non-heated class starts an hour earlier, at 4:30 PM. The same practice and the same teachers, in a cool room with the fans going. Every level welcome. If the heat is what has kept you or a friend away, this is your class.
Through November 30
The Gratitude Practice
Twenty days of practice in thirty days, and it is free to join. Sign up at the desk and add a star to the board for every day you practice. Twenty stars earns the signature tote, and we finish together at Music + Flow on Friday, November 27 with January Shannon, then Happiness Hour.
It does not have to be perfect. It just has to be practiced. The practice is in the returning.
November 9 to 15
Veterans and one guest practice free, all week.
A small thank you for your service. Every class on the schedule, the whole week of Veterans Day. Tell the desk when you check in and bring whoever you like.
Pose of the Month
Fish Pose, from Crissa Sigl
Matsyāsana. Matsya means fish.
A backbend you take lying down. Hands palms-down under your hips, elbows tucked close, then press into your forearms, lift your chest, and let the crown of your head rest lightly on the floor with the weight in your elbows and chest, never your neck. Five to ten breaths into the ribs. You will see it near the end of class, after the spine is warm, and with blocks under the shoulder blades it becomes a passive heart opener that can stand in for Savasana.
Crissa’s reason for choosing it: “It fully opens my chest and throat and counteracts poor sitting posture.”

“Her voice and her cadence allow you to float along through the poses, then all of a sudden you realize that she is kicking your butt and you did not even realize it.”
Lynda V., after Jen’s class, October 3
Did you know?
One of our teachers takes calls in Turkish.
Which one? Ask at the desk. Last month’s answer: Jeka lived in Australia.

Most people read what you wrote before they ever try a class. If Indigo has meant something to you, a few honest lines on Google, Yelp, or TripAdvisor go a long way.
